Balance Alerts

Balance alerts are email notifications that warn you when your account balance is running low. They give you time to top up before your API keys stop working.

Alert levels

Gonka Broker uses three alert levels, each triggered at a different balance threshold:

Level	What it means
Warning	Your balance is getting low. We recommend topping up soon.
Critical	Your balance is critically low. API keys may stop working shortly.
Blocked	Your API keys have been blocked due to insufficient balance.

If your keys are blocked, they will resume automatically once you add funds and your balance becomes positive. No manual action is needed beyond topping up.

Note

The system sends one email per alert level. You will not receive repeated emails for the same condition.

Managing alerts

To enable or disable balance alerts:

1. Sign in to app.gonkabroker.com
2. Go to Settings from your dashboard
3. Toggle Balance alerts on or off

When enabled, alert emails are sent to the address associated with your account.

How it works

Gonka Broker periodically checks your balance against the alert thresholds. When your balance crosses a threshold, the system sends a single notification email for that level. As your balance continues to drop, you receive alerts for each subsequent level.

Once you top up, the alert state resets. If your balance drops again later, you will receive a fresh set of notifications.

Tip

You can avoid low-balance situations entirely by setting up Auto Top-Up. With auto top-up configured, your account is recharged automatically before alerts would be triggered.
